Has many add-on services and supports different authentication methods
The SAP Integration Suite can work with different authentication methods. It supports physical authentication, certificate-based integration, and mTLS authentication. This allows customers to choose the best integration approach based on their policies and procedures. Additionally, the suite offers both push and data integration capabilities. The SAP Integration Suite has different add-ons and services that are easy to activate. You can create chatbots and integrate them with websites and apps. You can also build custom customer apps from scratch using various technologies. These apps can be based on databases or programming languages like Java. The suite also supports special intelligence like machine learning, although we haven't used it yet. It offers various methods, such as API management. You can easily access data files in formats like JSON or Excel, depending on your needs.

An integration platform that enables you to automate tasks by connecting apps and services
Follow best practices, engage in their professional services to help build your messaging system and to be PR have some PR emphasis and and blue Bluegreen deployment You could take half your your clusters out, upgrade them, and put them back in so you have a quick callback. And also patch quarterly, we got we got downbound. And and at that point, it's a little hard to get into the cycle when you're releasing software every every week, and you're trying to, go through an upgrade seven fifty servers, it's a little hard to get into the upgrade flow when when you're running that tight. I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten.

Pros

"The solution is easy to use."
"The SAP Integration Suite can work with different authentication methods. It supports physical authentication, certificate-based integration, and mTLS authentication. This allows customers to choose the best integration approach based on their policies and procedures. Additionally, the suite offers both push and data integration capabilities."
"The technical support services are good."
"SAP Integration Suite's event-driven architecture has helped automate processes by providing better scalability, performance, and organization compared to point-to-point methods."
"The most beneficial feature for our clients is the easy access to their information, achieved effortlessly through integration."
"The most beneficial feature of SAP Integration Suite for our operation is its capability to enable API-based cloud applications to integrate seamlessly with SAP S/4HANA."
"One [of the most valuable features] is the webMethods Designer. That helps our developers develop on their own. It's very intuitive for design. It helps our developers to speed the development of services for the integrations."
"We needed a tool that was able to orchestrate and help us configure our APIs so that we could maintain and see the heartbeat, traffic, trends, etc."
"The most valuable feature of webMethods Integration Server is all the capabilities it provides. We leverage most of the features, that they have offered to us. Our vendor has made some additional features on top of the webMethods Integration Server and we use all the features together."
"Within the new version, webMethods API Gateway gives us an end-to-end lifecycle from the creation of the API up into the development, deployment, and promotion into production/live. The current end-to-end lifecycle of the API gives us enough authority and governance of the API. We know what are currently live services, what is in the testing stage of development, and what version that has been commissioned. So, the full life cycle itself gives us full authority and governance of the API."
"The most valuable aspect of this solution for me has been the configuration-based UI. Once you get the hang of it, it enables you to easily develop an API. In addition, it has many in-built policies that are quite handy."
"The product is very stable."
"What I like the most about the solution is that it comes with ready-made tools like handling security tokens and OAuth."
"It is a bundled product stack for A2A and B2B usage. It is one of the best products which I have used during my integration career."

Cons

"The product's UI could be faster."
"The setup process for the SAP integration Suite is not straightforward. It involves some technical aspects and can be complex."
"The instances are costly."
"In PIPO, there were complex and effective tools to measure performance and how messages were processed, but Integration Suite still does not have solid reports that are useful for evaluating and understanding possible bottlenecks."
"I believe there are areas where SAP Integration Suite could be improved, such as enhancing message transformation capabilities and simplifying conditional routing features compared to the on-premise tool SAP PO (Process Orchestration)."
"They could provide graphical data for over-viewing metrics such as payments, receipts, creditors, and refunds."
"Understanding the overall architecture is difficult."
"Need to see more API portal features like monetizing APIs and private cloud readiness."
"On the monitoring side of things, the UI for monitoring could be improved. It's a bit cumbersome to work with."
"We need more dashboards and reporting engines that can provide detailed information for management. In short, we need better analytics."
"As webMethods Integration Server is expensive, that's its area for improvement."
"A potential drawback of webMethods.io API is its adaptability to legacy systems, which can vary in compatibility."
"I'd like to see the admin portal for managing the integration server go up a level, to have more capabilities and to be given a more modern web interface."
"The patching of infrastructure is not very smooth and improved authentication should be added in the next feature."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is inexpensive for smaller businesses and expensive for larger businesses."
"I'm not well-versed in the details of pricing and standard licensing for SAP Integration Suite as I primarily focus on technical aspects. As far as I know, clients can choose between different levels of offerings based on their messaging frequency and business requirements, with premium levels offering more features and customization options."
"I rate its pricing a five out of ten."
"Some of the licensing is "component-ized," which is confusing to new users/customers."
"I am not involved in the licensing side of things."
"The solution’s pricing is too high."
"I do see a lack of capabilities inside of the monetization area for them. They have a cloud infrastructure that is pay per use type of a thing. If you already use 1,000 transactions per se, then you can be charged and billed. I see room for improvement there for their side on that particular capability of the monetization."
"The solution's development license is free for three to six months. We have to pay for other things."
"The price is a little bit high, especially regarding their support."
"The product is very expensive."
"Initialy good pricing and good, if it comes to Enterprise license agreements."
